No matter how thoughtfully you approach the hard moments of parenting, it feels like you just can’t get it right.

You’re trying to be patient and intentional, but the constant meltdowns, backtalk, and noise have left you drained. When you imagined becoming a parent, you thought about making memories and having fun watching your child grow, but you never imagined how hard it could be. You love your kid fiercely—and you definitely want to parent differently than your parents did—but lately it feels like every little thing turns into a battle, and you can’t remember the last time your home felt like a peaceful place.

  • Every day feels like walking on eggshells, waiting for the next meltdown or argument to start. You’ve tried being gentle, you’ve tried being firm, and sometimes you end up yelling even though you swore you wouldn’t. It feels like you’re spending every ounce of your energy just trying to get through the day. The mental load of juggling your own emotions, your child’s needs, and keeping everything else in life afloat is more overwhelming than you feel equipped to handle.

  • You’ve absorbed so much information from so many sources—Dr. Becky, Instagram reels, teachers, family, friends—that it’s hard to know which advice to follow or what will actually help your child. One voice says “ignore their behavior,” another says “talk about feelings,” and you’re stuck wondering which response will make things worse. Add a partner or co-parent with differing opinions, and it’s easy to feel completely lost about what to do.

  • You know you can’t be the only parent who has felt this way, but it feels lonely when other families you know aren’t facing the same struggles. Playdates and dinners out have become rare because you’re worried about how your child might act. Babysitters quit, family members criticize, even strangers look at you with pity or blame, and you’re left feeling alone in trying to make things work.

You’ve already put so much effort in. Now, you just want definitive advice that cuts through the noise, shows you exactly what to do next, and then actually works.

Maybe You’re struggling with…

how i can help

Therapy shouldn’t last forever, but you will be their parent forever—so let’s find solutions that stick.

Being a mom has completely changed the way I practice. I know what it’s like to juggle endless moving pieces, to want to do right by your kids, and to feel like there’s never enough time, energy, or certainty to go around. That’s why I only recommend steps that are specific, actionable, and actually doable in your real life—not lofty goals that sound great on paper but fall apart by dinnertime.

When we start, I’ll take time to learn everything I can about your child, your family, and your own story as a parent—what you’ve tried, what’s worked, and where your efforts seem to unravel. Together, we’ll identify what’s driving the behaviors you’re seeing and create a clear, personalized plan to help things finally start to shift.

Most parents I work with already have great instincts.

But they need a coach on the field to help them implement the right strategies with the right tone & timing to see it work for their family.

One thing that sets therapy with me apart is that I use live coaching through an earpiece whenever possible. Instead of talking about strategies in theory, I’ll observe what’s happening in real time and help you notice small adjustments that will make a big difference.

Then, I’ll live coach you on exactly how to apply the skills in your unique situation. Together, we fine-tune the timing, language, and approach until we land on the right combination of strategies for your family.

You’ll also receive after-visit summaries and action plans each week, so you can stay present during our sessions and remember what you’re working toward, even if mom-brain catches up with you. My goal is that by the time we’re done, you’ll have the confidence and tools to handle whatever comes your way, so your relationship with your child can continue to flourish.

You’re already a good parent.

You just need support & skills that actually work in the moments that matter.

imagine a life where…

Home feels peaceful again.

Days go more smoothly, the noise level drops, and everyone seems to breathe easier. Tantrums don’t take over the whole evening, and daily routines finally happen without a fight. You’re no longer just surviving the days, you’re actually enjoying being together again.

Knowing how to handle challenges comes naturally.

Instead of questioning every decision, you trust yourself to know what your child needs and how to respond. You can handle meltdowns, conflicts, and surprises with calm, clarity, and skill. The tools you’ve learned in therapy feel second nature and actually work when you utilize them.

Progress is visible, and others notice it too.

Teachers mention how much better things are going, your partner seems more relaxed, and even friends and grandparents are commenting on the shift. Your child feels proud of themselves and more capable, and you finally feel the relief of knowing that what you’re doing is working. The calm you feel isn’t just a fluke, it’s lasting.

There’s more room for your own needs & joy.

You have time and emotional space again—for yourself, for your relationship with your child and partner, and for moments that make you smile. The tension that used to fill the air has been replaced with warmth, laughter, and genuine connection. Your responsibilities feel lighter, and you feel proud of the family you’re raising.

Common questions about parent coaching & therapy for parents

  • What I offer is grounded in evidence-based methods and tailored to your real life. We’ll focus on live practice and feedback, not just conversation, so you can actually see change at home. You’ll leave sessions knowing exactly what to try, why it works, and what to practice so you get good at doing it all on your own.

  • That’s incredibly common, and it doesn’t stop us from making meaningful progress. I often work with just one parent—usually the one who’s carrying most of the day-to-day load—and we focus on what you can do that will make the biggest difference, even if others aren’t using the same approach yet.

If your partner, co-parent, extended family, or nanny is open to learning the skills, I’m always happy to include them and offer resources, coaching, or collaboration to help everyone stay consistent. But it’s not a requirement for success. You can create real change in your home by using effective strategies yourself, and I’ll help you feel confident doing that regardless of who else is on board.

  • Many families notice relief in the first few sessions once they start using skills effectively. Depending on your needs, we might work together for a few months, or longer as we focus on new and evolving goals for your family. Either way, my aim is for you to feel confident, capable, and ready to keep progress going on your own.

  • Yes. While my younger families often work through live parent-child sessions, I also coach parents of teens and young adults who are struggling with independence, motivation, mental health concerns, or chronic illness. If your teen or young adult won’t come to therapy themselves, we can work on finding clear strategies that help you support them without burning out.

  • You’ll be able to see it and feel it. We’ll also use simple progress measures so you can see measurable changes in your child’s behavior (and in your confidence as a parent). You might look up one day and realize there’s less chaos, fewer meltdowns, calmer mornings, and more laughter.

  • Yes! I offer speaking and training to parent groups, schools, and other professionals about parenting topics and enhancing communication with children. Learn more about speaking and consulting opportunities here.

If you’d like to discuss custom speaking or group content, please contact me.

Take a deep breath.

A clear path to meaningful change is closer than you think.
